What day did Woot offer the Zune for $89 + $5 S/H? The cheapest I've heard of so far is the $99.99 + $5 S/H.

Anyone who bought a Zune the first time was offered a $10 voucher to buy another one to make up for the price drop 2 weeks later. They mocked the Steve Jobs "Open Letter" to great effect with it.
    So $99 - $10 + $5 shipping makes a black Zune for $94.99.

i was looking at the zune 30gb as it supports 802.11. however, the wireless only works with other zune's. i ended up getting an 80gb ipod for $200. more than twice the space, same resolution, better back light, smaller/sleek looking, and longer battery life. you can pick up a new one at best buy for $249. i really can't stand trying to operate macs or apple products in general, but i've grown to like this ipod.

When the new Zunes come out ( or sooner), Microsoft is going to release new firmware for the 1st generation Zunes to enable all the features in the 2nd generation Zunes, including Wi-Fi synch with computers.
