Not this week. My guess is that they want the price on the new laptops to go up so that the orders will go down. That will give them the chance to catch up on their production backlog. It's definately not a great time to buy a Dell laptop. Without those free upgrades and stackable coupons you're going to spend between $300 and $500 more than those of us who ordered previously. I love my 1520, however I would not order the same thing for $1600 shipped to my door when I originally got it for $1170 delivered.

    ;P

The Vostro is a great deal right now, at least it was as of yesterday. You just have to go thru small business.

I agree that this is the best deal from Dell Canada. I've tried configuring all 1420 configurations through Dell Canada this was the best deal. I was really close to ordering (but I would rather get a Thinkpad instead). For under $1270including all taxes (I'm in Ontario), 2 Gig of memory, bluetooth, camera, 9 cell battery, and a three year return to depot service (usually $150).
