    This is a great deal. Unfortunately, this model is no longer offered at Circuit City so you can't price match with them for an additional discount, but still $599 +$50 mail in rebate = $549 which is a bargain. I saw way worse notebooks for Black Friday that were like $400-500.

    That's too bad. The HP offer isn't bad. Although the processor isn't near as good everything else looks pretty similar

    This is a really good deal. It even has the better 7350 CPU instead of the usual 5800. This is better than Black Friday.

    From what I understand, the processor is listed incorrectly as several users have reported that this system actually comes with a P8400 processor. Even better than the 7350, so yeah this deal is definitely great.

    I was able to snag 1 a month ago from big lots. Yes it does have the p8400. I just got my rebate mailed in so it ends up being $549 AR. I didn't think the offer was going to return after I purchased mine at the end of october so I would think they will either offer it again or offer a different laptop again. I've heard they made a massive buyout with circuit city and have tons of merchandise they will be selling from them. I've also noticed my local circuit city got rid of the dv4-1028us. They may have done this so they don't have to price match with big lots.

    Yeah actually the dv4-1028 is not available in ANY Circuit City store anymore, it's only available online now. And when I tried to price match over the phone, they said they can't price match Big Lots.

    Total price: $639 - $50 mail in rebate = $589

    Yeah I know, I spoke to like 5 different reps on the 800 line with no luck. I actually ended up doing it from a Circuit City store. They don't have it in stock so they direct ship it to you. But I don't think you can do this anymore because the deal at Big Lots was deal of the day for Monday and it is no longer on their site so you can't really price match it anymore.

    I tried with our local (90 miles away) Circuit City store....no luck Oh well....Would have made the perfect Xmas gift to replace my college junior's dying lappy
