This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    10 days to go and silence from you both. You caressed us with 35% a few years ago and 20% just a few weeks ago. PLEASE make on final return hopefully TODAY and take away that un-Christmas like $200 cap and lets get some money spent

    sorry no so much a tech bargain but a wish :)

    i hear ya
    i've got a laundry list of purchases i'm waiting to buy when bing hits 15%+

    i get all excited whenever i see a new response in the other bing thread, thinking there's an update with a higher bing %... :(

    I think the only chance left is if they're going to time it with all the Xmas shipping cut-off dates and bump up the % for online merchants, not eBay. If they're going to do it this Fri-Sun, that would already be pushing it for Christmas delivery, so my rationale doesn't even hold together that well.

    Not too hopeful, but who knows?

    i hope bing doesn't go back up now... bought 2 laptops while it was at 8% after seeing that this time last year, bing was taken away and didn't return until february. :eek:
