Why is it that these stores have these deals with free printers, wireless routers, etc., but to buy the extra products from the manufacturer's websites, everything is extra $. Buying online is no way to save money. I am still, still kicking myself for not taking advantage for the HP DV2130US for $800 at compusa about a month ago. Why is it that compusa hadn't even come close to that deal again since. They have it on sale for a measely $50 off reg. price for a total of $1,229 now. Since that awesome deal before, I will not buy a laptop that I need until I get that deal again. So am I to be stuck for the next year or so? Circuit city has good HP laptops, but only with AMD Turion 64 X2. It's good, but not the Core 2 Duo that I wanted. Oh yeah , I refuse to buy the overrated Dell.

Buying online is no way to save money? Sure, you may not like dell, but ask the people that had used the $750 off $1500 coupon before.

On the contrary, everything in-store seems overpriced whiel online works out much cheaper for me on anything.

Evertime I see a great deal at Circuit City or CompUSA, I try to at least match it online. But I always come up with a couple of hundred dollars more online, without the free stuff (Printer, Router, etc.) also. I see all these sights advertising $300 off HP, with their coupons. When I click the link, I just go directly to the HP store, customize the laptop, and end up at hte checkout with a huge bill and no savings from any coupon before I empty and exit.
I know, Dell has great coupons, but I would rather pay a little more to avoid headaches from the flimsy Dell products and poor customer service.
