This things are getting cheaper and cheaper, about beating netbook prices. Looks like a great deal for anyone needing just a basic notebook.

 

Yeah, seems like a nice computer for those who plan to do just the basics, Web Surfing, Listening to music, photo work, etc. Seems like a great college student buy if they want a larger screen on a budget.

 

This deal is also available at Microcenter (though it may be under the Acer brand, I can't remember).

Or for $20 more (plus tax), you can get a Compaq Presario CQ60-420US, T4200 2GHz, 3GB, 250GB, 15.6", DVDRW w/Lightscribe, 6-cell battery at Staples.

 

This is nice to beat the Netbook pricing! (Well, most)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking basics....a family member of mine..could use this.

No rebates needed on the e-machines deal & no taxes. Personal choice!
