Im looking to buy a xps m140 from the dell home outlet. I purchased a 15% off coupon from eBay. I am looking for the following specs:
1.7ghz + (centrino)
1gb ram (i can get 512 stock and just add another stick)
60gb HD + (is there a big speed/battery life between 5400/7200 rpm)
Integrated Bluetooth (necessity!)
DVD + or - RW required
I would prefer the true life screen coating....
Any advice on what I can do to save a few more dollars on this. I know jacksonck got his for like $700 and I wish I could do that... What else can I do?
Thanks

is the coupon valid for outlet purchases? I didn't think they were, but i could be wrong.
If you could find one with XP home, that might lower the price as well as get a 1 year warranty. -
Yea, the coupon is specifically for the outlet. I mean I dunno, What does complete care offer me over regular? Should I get 1 year with complete care or 2 year without complete care? Nearly the same price. This is killing me... and xp home would only lower like $40 no? I wanna know how jacksonck did it

complete care covers all spills and accidents. If you are clumsy or have children/younger siblings/pets, then it might be a good idea. It is just a perference thing.
You can always add warranty later towards the end of your current warranty.
