Good price. It's crazy that the old iPad 16GB is selling for over $499 but the new iPad 2 will be $499 MSRP for the 16GB. I suspect the first iPad's will drop in price significantly though once the iPad's 2 come out.

Hmmmm, something I never wanted but it sounds like a tempting price.

I'll have to see what Ipad 2 is bringing to the table and decide.

Edit: Oh man Gen 2 is soo much better. If it was something I wanted I would probably be willing to pay the $150.00 more for the Ipad2 its better in a lot of ways.

Wish they made the screen higher res though :/

I wanted to use it only as a media player and web surfing so meh maybe I would not gain much with Gen 2 anyways, but the tech geek in me would want to have the faster cpu and video cameras.

It really would not work so well since I have over 100GB easy in music anyways and I would like videos as well. I need a device with expandable memory like my N900 has.

IDK, I thought it would come out on Sep. 2011 too, but then the keynote told us otherwise.

2011 is the Year of the iPad 2 <- Means there aren't any more revisions until the next year...

Because that is not the way they do things. They release new products and hardware refresh once a year for every products. The iPhone 5 and new iPods will be announced in June as usual. They will prob announce the sandy bridge iMac and Mac pro during the same period. The iPad 3 will be a 2012 thing.
