The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I listen to Leo Leporte on KFI 640 am here in Southern California and he reccomended notebookshop.com in cerritos california and on the net. I went to the store and was wowed by the prices and the service. I got my Acer 1710 (a freaking awesome desktop replacement) for 1399.00! they had a couple sonys with xbrite screens for below 1500 bucks. They had the biggest selection Ive seen just about anywhere. I would give them a look first before ya but, they have a great website for info.
