Just a heads up, this weekend is the biggest for sales tax free purchases offered by various states, you can save hundreds of $$$ by avoiding sales tax on a PC purchase if you do it this weekend. Complete list of states/dates in this article

A lot of online places are making it easy to get the tax free savings, Lenovo for instance

Others such as Dell are forcing you to apply for the sales tax rebate post purchase

I don't want to get political, but I think it would be wise for Michigan to sit this one out...

Also, if you can combine the tax savings with a coupon from HP, Dell, Lenovo [ http://www.notebookreview.com/coupons/ ]etc... that's a great deal.

My brother used to work for Chrysler Financial. I think it was somehow across the street from you, wasn't it? Well, a few miles up.

nope, that's another state too far in debt to be able to afford tax free. Just drive a few hundred miles to Delaware and enjoy the permanent tax free shopping there!
