Was 6 hours into dremeling out the logo in my averatec to back light it and oops :( Slipped a little and scarred the outside of the logo. Now a change of plans. I had wanted to backlight the logo and cover the lid except the logo area with suede from schtickers. Now it'll just have to be a suede schtickers job. I will post a review of the suede schticker when I get a chance.

Sorry to hear that Circa, would have loved to have seen what it looked like with a backlight in. Ahh well, look forward to the end result and review anyway. There's always other laptops to mod that way in the future ;)

There are some ways to fix some scars, like clear fills and such. They do it on cars all the time ;) I don't know at all what the before and after is though, so I'm just postulating here. But don't write it off completely just because of a little Dremel nick, it could quite possibly be saved.
