    Alienware 17 - Paint Mod

    I'm in the process of giving my Alienware 17 a fresh new Gloss White paint job to remove the ugly grey areas they have. The main chassis section only has a very small section to respray but it was torn down completely just to be safe. It's a 3 part process once all the black sections are taped off - Prime, Paint and Clear Coat.
    The chassis and bottom base cover are now completed but the LCD lid still needs clear coating. I'm hoping to have the machine rebuilt by the end of the weekend.

    Getting there. These just need a little tidy up around an edge or two but I’m pretty happy with the result so far. The LCD lid is the tester though. It won’t be ready for a few days.

    We dont have a garage yet, but the next house will have one for sure, the deal is as follows: I get a garage / man cave she gets a walk-in wardrobe :)

    That's part of the reason I went for white on this one. I'm in the middle of doing a red one now since AW have released a few red models over the years.
