Ok, i have seen in a Homedepot an Antistatic LCD Cleaner called S.O.Screen (-.-') that repels dust and another particles in the air ...

i would like to know if someone have tested it and if this may not injury my notebook screen since is a chemical compound and LCD screen are quite delicated.

apart from this .. which effect this could have if applied SOFTLY to the whole notebook surface ? (to prevent dust, etc ..)

    EDIT :

Asus G51VX-RX05 has a very glossy surface that is easily scratched when cleaning it with everything .. even with those softs clothes.

Want to know also if there's any compound to remove scratches from that black glossy surface =)

    Thanks !

My parents own multiple LCD products and after watching some 20/20 special or something were all scared about static electricity messing thier stuff up. They called Sony & Samsung about what product they could buy that could be sprayed directly on the screen w/o any issues.

    Both said: Pledge for Electronics

Never used it but they now swear by it.

I have! and I concur. I use it on my entire notebook (and home electronics) with excellent results and no deleterious effects. Although I would never spray anything directly onto the object. Just use it sparingly; a little goes a long way.
