I want to get a custom skin design made from them and wanted to know about theirs quality. I found another provider worth mentioning : DecalGirl.com. Although I don't thing they will be willing to print a cringle piece, they still have some decent designs you can choose from.
If you got your decal from any one of these or a different one, feel free to leave some feedback on your experiences here. (preferably high quality vinyl)

I got my second one from them 6 months ago and I was very happy with both. They go on fairly easy and don't scuff like paint does.

If you search this forum, you'll be able to find a few threads. Also, Chaz did a review this summer. There was another review this summer of HP skins.
Basically, Schtickers' customer service sucks, but you'll probably never have to deal with them so that's not as important. And, if you plan on keeping the sticker on for a long time, after a few months, the part you touch to open the lid, the thin layer of plastic on top will begin to peel and turn yellow from skin oil and look kinda gross - so you'll want to buy another one, and another one, and another one, so it's expensive in the long run if there's a specific image you want to keep for a long time. If you're getting a custom one, then stock images don't matter to you, but if you are thinking of using one of their designs - they don't look that hot at 17". However, they're close to being the only source of custom lid stickers, and other non-customer vendors have pretty bad designs, so that's that. Good luck.

I didn't have the problems listed above and I've gotten two of them from http://www.schtickers.com . Customer service was fine for me with them.
Also, if anyone bothered to look at the HP skins, the link didn't work for a long time, (over a month). When I complained to both HP and skinit.com , they never got back to me. After three email tries, I gave up. I notice just now that the links work. FINALLY! But, I won't order from them as they have crummy customer service by not bothering to reply back to me! Plus the fact that it took well over a month to get site operating properly!

My email to Schtickers was that the dimensions advertised on their website were an inch larger than they actually were, so I had pieces of laptop sticking out on the sides. They fixed the website but never got back to me. What for, they already had my money.
