Anyone with Skinit or Schticker Skins?

I wanna know how one looks like... I'm thinking of getting one for my laptop but I want to know what they would look like, especially on an Inspiron 1720/Vostro 1700.

I have a schtickers suede skin (just used on the palms of my averatec) and love it.

 

i have the american flag on my Acer Aspire 3100 and I love it. makes it very unique. 3m skinit.

 

Any pictures with flash? I did a quick search and not a lot of pictures, or high quality ones.

Hmm... right now I'm looking into glossy... I was thinking glossy black for the palm rest like where your suede is, and some kind of thing for the lid.... I was hoping they'd have glossy yellow but neither of those sites carry that.

Hey Circa - I don't see palmrest only stickers on Schtickers... did you cut that yourself? Looks really clean.

 

Yeah, I ordered a custom size so I would have enough for the palms and the lid. I ended up not using it on the lid.

Does anyone know if this is glossy? Is the black version glossy too?

 

I bought my girlfriend a schticker, and it looks really good with a couple of caveats.

1) You must make sure you choose the correct size (custom if possible)
2) Use the highest quality image you can ( I have heard bad things about their provided images )
3) The application process is the trickiest bit... if you have a lid with bevels or such it could be tough.

It looks great though, hardly tell it is a sticker from 2ft+ away. I will get some photos once she is back from Dublin
