This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I was reading about aluminium vs copper vs graphene, and I know graphene costs a lot, so until it is mass produced it isn't work it, but, what if manufacturers but the processor/gpu nearer to the edge, had a single aluminium heatsink over each unit, and had fans tearing at 30dB~?

    They already do that, the chips are as close to the edge as possible - don't forget there are lots of wires going through multiple layers of the board from the chips to the motherboard components...
