    They have carbon skins, but they are cut specifically for certain model notebooks.

    I have and somewhat disappointed. Overall, the result is not too bad.
    I bought the "NEW 3D CARBON FIBER Vinyl" on eBay Motors. It's thicker than the regular one (I bought the samples of their CFs first).

    It looks very close to the real thing but it gets smudged very easy. At a certain angle, it's beautiful, but under closer look, it has too many super fine scratches.

    It's for automotive, $6 a foot (15" wide). They also have a clear vinyl.They shipped it in the tube. It'll be a big bargain if you have skills to cut them in shape. I tried but I sucked big time to cut them to fit the cover of my Dell XPS M1330.
