I always thought one could never complain about something for free......then I divorced my first wife.

okay so here's the final result, i would have gone into greater detail around say the power buttons and the LEDs around the frame, but i wasn't that patient.
i apoligize for some of the poor quality, i had the flash turned on and it didn't come out so well. -
What kinds of paints did you use on it
-
oh, i used krylon fuzion for the red coat, then i put on the pinstriping, then a layer of scheleac. to protect the color a bit better.

Not fond of the C640s colors? I like the fact that it's black. I wish the current Dells were black instead of gray. Some decals on the thing would look nice though. I might do something to mine.
(I'm assuming that's a C640 since the specs and looks are nearly identical to mine, but correct me if I'm wrong). -
In the pictures it looks kinda rough, is it? Or is just the way its made to look, and did you use any clear coats on it?
-
no, it's not supposed to look rough, but it's like that because it's the first time i've ever painted something like that before. it's also a pp01L, and i used a simple wood finishing coat, i know that's not really what it's ment for, but that's all i had.
