Now to begin with, skins are much less expensive than a paint job. I have decided that I could not afford a paint job.
I was wondering, how do skins look on laptops? Do they look out of place, get airpockets?
Secondly, about how thick are skins? Do they add much to the width of the notebook?
And finally, how durable are they? How long would one last if I transport my notebook nearly everyday in a bag?
I know I am a noob when it somes to cosmetics, so please get me started on the right track. I'm seriously looking into getting a skin for my Sager NP 2092. It's a 15 inch notebook. which leads me to my final qustion: Can a skin be applied to any notebook?
Thanks a lot for any help offered.

Dont worry about being a noob, i had the same questions when i went to buy my skin. I got mine from decalgirl.com and was impressed with how it was when i got it. It didnt add any width to the notebook at all. If you take your time with applying it to the laptop you wont get any air pockets, it took me twice to get it right (i didnt use a credit card the first time to smooth it down as i was applying so i had an airposket but i pull it up and reapplyed it and voila, no air pockets As far how it takes to carrying it around yet again, i'm happy with how its holding up. If you look in the post i have posted a few pics under the thread of skinned my sager, and you can see some of the pics i took of it. I know a lot of the other guys here have some awesome pics of their skins too.
Hope this helps -
Thanks a lot. That sounds great. I'll be spending my next few weeks browsing through skins now. lol.
