Hi,
I am just wondering how to paint ASUS Ux32VD. I would like to replace my old laptop with a portable one and I found ASUS UX32 the best for my needs. However this lid is horrible, basically this is not for my person (!) at all. I prefer Lenovo black but not this fashion...Uhhhhh....
I am looking for a good metal coat/paint. Any Idea ?

I think it'd be cool to be able to do some sort of controlled tarnish to get this sort of effect. I'm not skilled with custom paint jobs, but I'd bet someone would know how to do something like this.

Painting anodized aluminum is a pain in the @. I suppose you could get the finish off with oven cleaner (the strong stuff like easy-off), then polish it, then prime it, then paint it (couple of coats at least).
I wouldn't recommend painting aluminum where the finish isn't already really damaged. -
I wouldn't suggest using Oven Cleaner on Aluminium. Seeing as Oven Cleaner is Lye...
