What works good to put a shine on laptops? I've got a couple of Toshibas I want to sell and a little shine would make them look better. When I wiped them off with a damp towel, they really looked nice until they dried.

Try Maguire's Tech Wax or a similar non-abrasive auto polish.

You know, it's only a matter of time before some inventive wax & polish company starts marketing a notebook-specific brand of polish. ;)

Another rec for Meguiars. Used it on a stapler (shut up unless you've seen Office Space - it makes perfect sense :S) and it was shiny as, worked fine...

Mind you, the shinier it is, the more fingerprints show up, so you'll be carrying it by the edges and keeping a buffing cloth in your pocket for a while if you're anything like me =P

I suggest Autoglym extra gloss protection. Realy nice, atleast for painted laptops. Autoglym is the recomended car care series for Aston Martin and Rolls Royce.

dura-gloss is the best if u just want it to shine but i dont think u ur really going to get much shine out of a paint that is flat to begin with
