Asus makes a small leather-bound laptop, I was just curious here if its feasible to glue or somehow attach leather to the back of the lcd and the bottom of any other laptop

I think it would be quite pimp

Careful, depending on the laptop, it may overheat. Powerbook / Macbook Pro use their aluminum chassis as a heat sink. Leather will trap the heat inside on these. Does your laptop get pretty warm? If so, I'd be hesitant to wrap it in leather. Not to mention the fact that a mod like this will hurt the resale value of the machine.

You'll need to remove the whole piece of the notebook, and bound it.

Does warm-hot air make leather expand? If it does, it'll be easier for it to be bound, for example, around the LCD lid. You get leather, heat it up so it expands a bit, place the lid face down and quickly bound the bits that doesn't show inside the lid. I would assume using glue under the leather on the lid will slowly destroy it over time(or get icky :p), so bounding it onto the back of the lid.

Of course, I'm no leather worker, so you may need to do some research ;)
