    Need Help Refurb'ing

    Not sure where to put this thread so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

    I'm probably going to trade my brand new laptop (Travelmate 6292) with my sister who has an older model (Travelmate 3290) but also a dedicated GPU. Problem is, I'm a perfectionist and she has engraved her name into it among other things. And to top it off, it's a rented laptop so it's going to need some repairs before it's returned (in 2 years) to avoid some fees.

    I need some ideas for making an engraving more discrete (It's about half a mil deep). If you need pics just ask. Also I can't seem to find anywhere that would tighten up the screen, it's a bit loose.
