This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm lookin at the alienware area-51 m5550, but the only thing holding me back from buying it is the case. It seems like it needs an update, and it'll definately cramp my style in college. Is there anything i can do to get rid of those alien eyes, or at least make the whole thing one color? Maybe i can request that it be put into a dell case lol

    Apparently nothing on Alienware's side. You could get a custom paint job, but those are fairly expensive, I'm not sure what kind of a budget you're on.
