    Hello, I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "Cosmetic" Mod, but my Dad uses his laptop for heavy typing/ Editing and his keyboard has worn out (big time!). Is there anyway to get a new one? He has the same laptop as I do (hence my interest), it is a Toshiba L25.

    You will need to order a new one from Toshiba in most cases. Or check eBay.

    I'd check Toshiba's parts depot before going to eBay - the ones from Toshiba are guarantee brand new, whereas the ones from eBay might already have some wear and tear. I'd check out our thread in the Toshiba forum, "How to Dissasmeble Toshiba Notebooks" and see if the guide on how to take apart the L25 is there.
