I know some people do paint their laptops but I personally dislike the idea.
1st in decreases the value of the laptop.
2nd if you do a bad job on it(which I would very likely do) it is quite disappointing.

Sorry I can't be of much help.

A lot of body shops will do custom paint work for notebooks, try getting quotes from establishments in your area.

Most people on here use Krylon Fusion paints, which you can buy down at walmart or home depot or pretty much anywhere. I personally would only use automotive paints on my laptop, but I have all the equipment and experience for automotive paints.

Well it really depends on your definition of a paint job.

You can do it your self with spray paints and such for less than $50,
or you can do it like Syndrome and i do, automotive paints.
You can check out my paint job in my thread about how I went about painting my Voodoo.
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=224877

There is a difference between a $50 paint job and a $1400 paint job, its just how much you care about teh little things, which justifies the difference.
For 99% of most users, a spray paint job will suffice, but thats not the case for me, i like to go professional all of the way.
