Hey I was woundering some options i have to make my laptop look less dull. I have a Gateway MX3560 and I dont really like the look of it. I was woundering if anyone knows a site where i can get skins for my 14" notebook or any other ways to make it look better. I think im a bit to afraid to go as far as to paint it.

spray paint it gold, i have a scratched MS mouse that i think i am going to try that with ^_^

and you could always just write circa86 on it. people would be like Oh Snap you know circa86!?!?! your laptop looks so badass with that on there! like omfg!!! omfg omfg!!!! hahahahaha,

or you could cover it in backstreet boys stickers or something

seriously though, i haven't seen any skins that look good or much else for that matter so i think it just comes down to originality.

take a car key and just carve at it, give it some character, make it tough, like something that just came off the battlefield

well, you could do racing stripes, or get some contact paper, paint on that, and peel it off when you want a change

I think Stickers are the way to go. When you have a crummy car, what do you do, you slap tons of bumper stickers on it so you can at least make a statement.

Hit up your local comics & cards store or the mall and I'm sure you could find some stickers worth toting!

That idea is actually not half bad, the carbon fiber thing.
You could get some of this and go for the Acer Ferrari look.

Try a product called ''rockinwraps'' I covered an old Rodgers drum set with the stuff and it looks sick ! lots of different designs it would probably work great on a notebook cover !

I can't stand the fake carbon fiber wraps personally. Guess I have worked with the real stuff too much.
