So to my disappointment just when I was going to turn my old Thinkpad T61p into a server the motherboard completely failed and crashed. So I decided that I want to use its LCD as an external monitor. I currently took everything apart and just have the screen now but I'm not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts?

I want to do the same with my old HP laptop which is officially dead. Im not sure how to go about this. I would love to either make a monitor or a picture display. Any ideas and or procedure that I could follow.

    Thanks.
