Hey guys/gals. I need help with painting my 360 and I figured some1 would have some exp. with that... I've painted a 360 before but the color scratches off easily.I know that the clear coat should help with that I think but I don't think it helped... Help meh plez?!

I did mine with sanding it down all the way, 2 coats of krylon plastic primer, 6 coats of krylon paint, and 6 coats of krylon primer and it has stayed great.

geez man... You did a lot of coats, I only did 3 of primer, 3 color coats, and 2 clear coat... I guess I need to get krylon, is that what your suggesting? thanks

I used brake caliper paint on mine and it looks GREAT!

lol... I LOVE Bimmers... HIGH FIVE!!!

Vinyl dye... doesn't coat, it "absorbed" by the plastic so there is nothing to scratch off. Doesn't work on metal.

WAIT!!!??? What, Im confused... Vinyl dye. Could explain it more to me... Thanks

sweetness, Ill pick up some vinyl die, I really am convinced after reading the post that its easier and much better looking, so all I have to do for vinyl die is prep with 600 grit sand paper and spray how many coats? do I sand in between coats, the guy made it seem like you don't need to sand except for the first time... thanks alot sparta.rising. NVM! I just read your original post and I understand it now... No coats cause it gets absorbed by the plastic.

You don't really need to sand, the vinyl dye will preserve the texture of the plastic. Just make sure to clean it first. -
