Just last week I was carrying my Toshiba Satellite notebook in my back-pack. I brought it over to my cousins house. When I took it out of my backpack I found scratches all over it (and alot of them). Now honestly, this laptop is a very powerful laptop with a 2.8ghz pentium 4 and 512MB of RAM standard. But just the fact that its completely scratched dissapoints me. I'll stop going into further detail and leave you with this. I would just like to know if it is possible for me to get a new cover for my notebook, or better yet a customizable color cover. I have recently seen for the newer Toshiba Satellite M60series and M65series the following colors: Peacock blue, (which is the color I currently have..or had) Sunlight copper and Mist gray. The one I currently own is a Toshiba satelite A75-S206 can this specific model that I own also come in these colors? (other than peacock blue)

If you know, please make me aware of it.

You can take the components out and have your current cover re-painted if you want.

Brian's is probably the best suggestion possible in this case.
Buy a neoprene sleeve to avoid such incidents in the future.

Good suggestions indeed, thank you. How much money would it cost to get my current cover re-painted?

If you take it to an automotive place it really depends... expect to spend in the neighborhood of 50-100 bucks maybe. Becasue you figure they will charge you for atleast 1-2 hours of shop time and supplies. Just remember that preping the notebook surface is just as if not more important than the paint you choose(so ask to see samples or pictures of work).

First rule of painting: Preperation of the surface crucial.

Get a good sleeve and case.
