On my laptop, the stupid acer people screwed it in SO HARD, that they screwed it up 1/2 and i screwed it up the rest.

There is no teeth on it any more.

    there's a BIT.

But i cant get a firm grip on it with any screw driver.

    Any way to fix such?

Hi Kay. The only sure-fire way to get a stripped screw out is to use a special screw remover bit that will dig into the screw head and effectively create its on teeth. These special screw removers can be found in hardware stores or you might get one from a local computer shop. You might have better luck simply having the screw removed at a local shop. I feel for you cause I know how that can be. I hope this helps. good luck.
