We discuss a lot of laptop models and accessories and parts on here, but what really matters is how it all comes together. Time to show off your setup! I'll go first.
Laptop on the left side of the desk is hp dv9500t. Just behind the laptop is a Sound Blaster Live! USB (with a toslink optical connection to my stereo equipment). In the center we have the hp w2007 widescreen monitor, AuraVision illuminated keyboard and logitech optical wheel mouse. Just to the right of the monitor is a Venus DS3R FireWire RAID enclosure housing 2x 500GB drives (RAID1 mirror). To the right of that is my audio equipment, a Stello DA-100 192 bit upsampling DAC, and a Stello HP-100 pre-amp. The speakers on either side are ADAM Audio A7 studio monitors. On the floor in the corner is my flatbed scanner, a Firewire Epson 4870 (I don't have a place to put it yet so it's not even hooked up at the moment).

When my new computer comes i will take some new pictures. I am thinking of buying an Apple display next week or so but i doubt i will because for me the Apple displays are probably lacking into inputs. -

Rachuk's desk is clean. -
I guess that i just do not like clutter.
I didn't have to clean up or hide things away for the pictures.
I have a lot of drawer space as well so i can put stuff in my drawers rather than keeping them all out of my desk. -
Already a thread for this with a couple hundred posts, here
I meant to add mine but never did, thanks for the reminder. -

You guys are in luck! Just cleaned my table yesturday! (well, half of it, that's why the other half isn't in the pic!)
Did this recently, cuz I'm selling my laptop (15.4") and getting a new one (12")
Have it set up so that I can grab it easily in the morning when I'm in a hurry. Hidden under the table is a usb hub where I plug my external sound card and cooling pad.
When I get my new laptop it'll have wifi so I'll only need to plug and unplug 2 things(power and usb hub).
Hope you guys like it!

Here's a link to my old computer room, that was from a year ago, since then I've moved to a new house, and split that up into two different rooms, and added a few computers too the two rooms. -
whats the specs on some of those computers? That is a nasty computer room.
-
Haha it's pretty messy isn't it? Btw that's my own room, not a study room. -
Nice, huh? Went to a lot of trouble to set it up so neatly!
It's just an old spare machine, and as of tonight, is Linux only (PCLinuxOS 2007). Not sure how or why, but it still works fine. LOL -
-
Thats pretty much it just pencils/calculator/picture on the left side of the desk.
-
I stand by my word, people with money, never spend wisely. -
link1313, I see you play a lot of "W-A-S-D" FPS's -
Not to mention the reddish/pink sponge paint....didn't that die out with the 80's along with other things of bad taste? -
I heard people DIE in Korea playing WOW. Literally DIE - now that's just messed up, play WOW until you DIE
-
either you get really fat cuz all you do is play wow, eat and never work out
or
you become a pile of bones because all you do is play wow and never eat
that game ruins peoples lives, i dunno why i haven't read anyone having a lawsuit against the company yet...
i'm sure you've all read the article about the parents in their 20's who are going to jail for not feeding their babies and what not because they were all about playing online games instead.
http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/articles/2007/07/17/1184559767113.html -
It's called self control if your an adult, or if your a kid the parents should set limits and boundaries IMO.
To each their own obviously, if it wasn't blizzard making the addictive games someone else would be doing it instead so no real change there. -
Anyway - it's funny - don't they feel they are going to die? How can they keep playing to death? shouldn't be funny... but LOL

Overweight? Put the ice cream down. In debt? Stop buying **** with your credit card. Most of life's problems are created because people don't have any self control, and don't take any personal responsibility for their actions. They like to blame it on 'the system' and 'society' and other bull**** like that.
There's a lot screwed up kids out there turning into screwed up adults, because their parents let them run amok and do as they please instead of setting (and enforcing) boundaries and limitations.
Ok, I'm done ranting. -
I guess you both right
-

Why the hell should a company be sued for making a good game? Should Panasonic be sued for making good TVs? Should Ford be sued for making good cars (assuming they do)? Seriously, if you have no self-control that's your own damn problem, but it's frivolous lawsuits like this that make the American legal system a joke.
By the way, I don't even play WoW, so don't think I'm defending it because I like it. I'm defending it because I think people should be held accountable for their own damn actions.
Sorry for continuing to lead the thread off track - I just felt I had to make a point. -
video games get blamed for peoples actions and some kids deaths..and actions are taken, it's just something that happens and all i said was i'm surprised nobody has done that with this company yet... -
I cannot state how much i completely agree with this statement! I hope all of you are opposed to Jack Thompson, the man who's trying to ruin video games! I would start my own rant but it would be a mile long. I'll post my own setup to make up for this post, i said i was going to do it a while ago but i just never got around to it -
I was addicted to CS when I was 12-15.. but now I try not to play games at all.
But yes, some video games ARE addicting. - but it's all about self-control (and responsibility), which you don't have when you are 12 or even 18 (depending on your parents) -
WoW is a pretty intense game. If I had WoW when I was in middle school / high school it's hard to say what would have happened.
I am a genius. -

I love it - It's my favorite game to play, very entertaining and lots to explore. Most importantly for me, the characters are extremely customizable. I've been playing it for 2 years now. -

Here is the setup just after I built it:
I had everything packed up to move to college but had my schedule messed up so here is what I'm using right now. My "makeshift" media/bedroom:
