Wow @ purezerg. :twitcy:
-
it looks intimidation at first. but after a while. it's fine.
1 screen to read email when the clients reply with the list of images.
the first screen is usually anthing from outlook, explorer, iexplore or even MCE/TV.
2,3,4th screen when not retouching, it's for iexplore, nikon viewNX or someother thing.
this system is strictly a workstation. the only game i have on it is world in conflict. not even vista's default games. -
so u r a hard working employee
I have seen this kind of workstation with 5 screen before and it's in RAYTHEON. bet u r woking for Steve Jobs
post ur next work station next time, I would love to see it
-
He's a photographer and I'm fairly certain he doesn't work for Steve Jobs.
You can see his work at the site on his sig.
-
There is a couch to the right along with the other 2 speakers of my DD5.1 setup. -
Very nice.
-
Looks tidy but is it dark to disguise a messy desk? =p
-
shhhhhh....
-
@purezerg: Have you ever tried working on those screens 2x2 [2 rows and 2 columns, basically a square instead of 1 full row]? Anyway, awesome setup!
-
Mine: (sorry for the light near the monitor, idk what that is lol, i closed the blinds; took it on my phone
)

@purezerg: What graphics do you have for that many monitors? Is it like quad view?

Got an external monitor now:
-
Nice neat setup there. That's what I imagine mine to look like whenever I decide to go with a laptop only.
-
That desk right there is too clean. How many hours did it take you to clean it up for that one picture?
Edit: New pictures of my room, with a P-6831FX.

-
Wow...that is beautiful. I love that acoustic guitar on the side...
I love that minimalistic look. If you don't mind me asking, what speakers are those? -
Oh so sick.

Not as long as you think, although I deliberately chopped the bottom half of the picture to hide the mess under the desk
Just a standard set of Logitech X-230, I've been meaning to upgrade to some Acoustic Aegos but I think I'll save some cash and stick with these for the time being. -
all your desks are too neat! Maybe i will clean my comp area up and take a pic to show you guys sometime

mattireland It used to be the iLand..
Mine isn't tidy.... in fact it's as untidy as you can get.... just show us - don't bother tidying.

-
hey...its essential to my computing habits. lol.
-
Oh so sick.
-
this is when my laptop is in my laptop 'bag'
whenever the laptop has to leave the house, that is the only way it's gonna leave the house. -
Whoa! Nicely decked
.
-
Gnarly.
-
Purezerg! Thats a crazy cool case! Have you torture tested it?
-
Jurisprudence Notebook Evangelist
Holy ****. How do you get through customs. Is there a spare pocket for grenade launcher, usb powered of course.
-
What, no bomb-resistant "bag?"
-
Your laptop will survive a bombing now, but will you? Nice way to make your your great-great-great grandkids get your laptop.
-
actually what's scary is what you dont see. under the laptop.
underneath has got 2x ultra high cap batteries and 2 internal batteries for a total of 48 cells if i am not wrong.
as for torture test,
i have accidentally slipped it into the swimming pool and it has slipped off my trolley down 15 steps of stairs AND dropped it from a shoulder height, all accidents and not intentional. laptop works perfectly. -
Whoa - how long does the laptop last? A day?!
-
^^ No offence, but you need that bag.
-
Is that whole thing heavy to carry around? :confused2:
-
do you ever have a problem with heat when its in there. just doesnt seem like it gets a lot of ventilation. or do you take it out of the case when you use it
-
ya battery last arounr 20+hrs. heat nope. the foam has been cut in mind for the vents also.
-
Just thought I would add my recent addition of a new desktop.
Inside it is:
Athlon X2 2.1Ghz chilled by a Cooler Master Hyper TX (freakin huge and silent)
2GB RAM
250GB SATA HD
20x DVD-RW DL Lightscribe
18x DVD-RW DL
Radeon HD3850
Scythe Kaze Master + 2x 120mm Yate-Loons, very quiet for non-gaming and somewhat quiet when cranked up for gaming.
All of it stuffed inside a Cooler Master Elite 340 case.
-
Nice desktop.
-
Wow. That looks sick.
-
Wow, most of you have great computer stations ! I am definitely jealous
Mine is a very simple layout (I would take a picture, but my digital camera is on the fritz). I have my T61 in the center of my desk (an older Bush 72" wood desk), and next to the laptop, I have an HP 2410 all in one printer. Nothing fancy, but I do plan on getting some external speakers, an external flat panel monitor, and maybe a new desktop once I get money to do so
Again, nice set-up's everyone !! -
Go phone camera!..not great quality but up to date at least
-
Why do people have tower cases/computer on top of the table instead of under the desk or beside the desk?
Is it a preference thing, or just a means to use the extra space on the desktop? -
with a badass case like that I wouldnt mind buying a throne for my desktop
-
Cuts down on the dust in all the fans in my case. Keeps the Kaze Master fan control LCD and knobs within eyesight/reach, and the switch for the cold cathodes is closer so I can turn them off when gaming to keep the temps down.
Plus, its tight and I want it up there on the throne instead on the floor where the servants wander. -
I guess I use to be like that, till I found gaming and watching DVD/TV is better when the computer is out of sight out of mind.
Never had a problem with dust, but you gave a good reason why you do it. Besides...my table is not as big as yours, and a full tower wouldn't fit on it anyway.
Nice setup!
-
I usually dont have a prob with dust, but my school apartment has cheaper carpet that loses its fibers super easy, and they come up in the form of dust that balls quickly inside small parts.
Show us your computer room!
