You're not the only one. My room is a freaking wreck right now. My computer desk isn't much better right now either. I just got a laser printer from work and I have stuff all over my desk from trying to make room for the printer.

That's right, my friends copied the whole season into my USB HDD when he borrowed me for backup purpose.

Try to use a tripod with slower shutter speed ;)

My room is a little small for all those things. Gonna rebuild the house soon

Actually my room is not always that neat :D

Man, my desk is clean enough compared to man, but I'm missing the computer gear! You guys have multiple screens, computers and accesories; I only have a laptop on my work desk and a desktop on my "racing" desk.

Here's an update to my setup. Once again, sorry about the lighting. My camera is a P.O.S. and I had to make due with my cell phone camera. I moved around my stuff since the last post and also bought an LCD monitor as well as aquired a nice laser printer from work.

I never do. My desk is usually fairly clean. Though I cannot say for the drawers. I am more of a "as long as it looks clean on the surface" person. If I dont see it, it doesn't bother me :p

@Cin--It's a 42" (Panasonic Plasma). Seemed gigantic when I first brought it home/set it up, but after living w/it for a bit, doesn't seem all that big.....lol

@Aznofan--My brother actually thought this was an Alienware.....the first time he saw it he was like "for that kind of money, you could've bought a MacPro" hahaha (he's a Mac fan)

    Now for the update.....

Am still waiting on two parts for my new desktop rig to show up (GPU/Mobo), but have everything else....including a new 21.5" Asus LCD (VH222), Logitech Ultra-Thin Illuminated Keyboard, Z-2300 2.1 Speakers and an MX518 Mouse :D

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Oh....my desk might look clean, but I've got a bit of a problem as to what to do with all the boxes..... ;)

Finally got rid of those 2 bulletin boards that sat above the desk and was able to move my monitor further back. Love the extra sense of depth that it brings too (below is what it looked like up till Thursday w/old Monitor/KB/Mouse)

This part of my arrangement will be changing here shortly as well......(old pic--not really notebook based tho.....)

Like I said, am pretty close to putting together a new rig. Ideally, I'd like to just slip the Antec Twelve Hundred I got on in where the Apollo is at (is being sold to a friend), but it's about 2-3" too big. So the subwoofer in the above pic will move to where that's at, and the Twelve Hundred will either go on my desk or in the subwoofer's spot (sitting on two black storage crates, rather than on the carpet itself)

lol... one of my floormates has the z-5500. They sound pretty much like surround sound z-2300's with a tiny bit more bass (as if 120W for a 2.1 system wasn't enough power already).

only god knows the reason but there are alot of kids these days that collect shoes. at the risk of showing my age a little I will just say that when I was young more then 1 pair of shoes would be totally rediculious back then.

    Different generation buddy.
True that. Though those are my current active 10 that I wear most the time.

Anyways, this was to show our "computer room." The shoes just happened to be there because they are in my room. Focus on the 32 inch Samsung/PS3/PC/ETC.

    Thanks.

    Not quite...
If the phosphorous (did I spell that right?) coating comes of inside the screen...

Right, you can have an improper image, like you said, or dust can even get in there...but its impossible to have a dead pixel as we know it on lcd's.

If that is very old I can understand it, but if that was built in the last 8 years it was dumb. LCD would have taken so much less space and used less power, and some bigger screens would have given more vertical view. a super wide fov like that is pointless if you do not have some vertical go to with it.

a 3x20" lcd setup up close with the right settings would have done more, it would take all your vision putting you in the game.

Or better yet just build 3 walls in a \_/ formation and use 3 HD projectors for your screens.

Just cleaned it up to post on another forum so though I would post here also. I know my laptop isn't in the picture, but I have no room for it on the desk, so it stays, well, on my lap. I have a big "L" glass desk that would work but I have to get around to tearing it down from another room and making room for it here, not looking forward to it, but the space will be nice.
