you do realise OSX and BSD are very very similar - in other words Steve Job/Wozniak didnt really do THAT much revolutionary when it came to the operating system dont you?
Not to mention the file system structure (bin, usr that sort of thing) in your Mac is nearly the same as that found under Linux? Linux and OSX are more like cousins than anything.
Yet to experience a 'BSOD' on a Linux machine....
I love the looks of Mac's though - just a shame some of the better manufacturers cannot get their act together when it comes to casing design
Each to their own.
Had a revamp of my setup (to stay on topic!) had to get a larger work area thanks to the aquisition of yet another notebook, so I will post pics when I finish setting up (taking a break right now
..lol)
-
um... ok, i'd go as far as 4.... but that's overkill...
-
Back on topic to computer rooms....I really like your setup, it's nice and clean...and I like how you have that monitor placed!

but i have planned till v3.5 right now, will be fun. and i'll keep you updated with pics, then. full hd beamer is at least working, so the living room is quite usable right now (but waiting for internet to install the tv card drivers to be able to get tv..
).

That reminds me of my acer 5672 that had an x1600 and a Core Duo 1.66ghz that I got in 2006. Sweet little rig that still sits on my brothers desk working away, so stand proud.
-
Acer Travelmate 4230 here
-
Yeah my old Acer is beaten up and all, but still runs just like it did when I bought it. I dont know exactly what he does with it but it still runs great!

Logitech Z4's, got em last December from buy.com for a good deal, i believe it was around $50. Now its around $70 in most places. really good speakers, pick them up if your replacing aging speakers like I did.
Thanks cin'! he really is an adorable yorkshire terrier -
lol, random Cavalier hubcap.
-
haha yeah, i actually have a wall of hubcaps and license plates. i just find them randomly on the streets and decided to put them up years ago. if i had enough money, they would be real rims hanging up there!
-
lol u got a pretty cool room. how do u like that logitech keyboard? i love the looks of it.
i'll send u some hub cap spinners for christmas.
-
The dinovo edge is definitely the best keyboard i've used so far. i love the orange lights and the trackpad, great combination when used with my projector and sitting on my bed. the aluminum armrest gets a little cold during the winter but otherwise it's quite comfortable. the keyboard is razor thin and pretty lightweight. battery is built in and looks really nice when on the charging station. i wish the bluetooth receiver was the ultra compact kind, but of course it's not a huge deal.
-
Nice A380 model!
Show us your computer room!
