more than likely since his alienware is on, but the screen is black, and the alienware logo![]()

Yes yes, bad SA on my part!
-
It reminds me of how I used to work and play (at home and away) with my vostro. All I needed to pack with that laptop was the power cord and a mouse and thats it. Really miss that type of setup compared to now where I need to use external monitors at work and I have to use an external num pad.
-
Nice set up guys
. If I have time I'll get around to posting a picture of my own set up.
-
Very cool.

-
Wow. Digging the living room setup.
-

I've always been a fan of having a simple work space. Trying to go that route now. Although getting a external monitor will kind of make that hard... plus the external HDD's, plus the mouse, plus the other things... Simple fail.
-
I just built a new desktop after not having one for almost 2 years. Then I bought an Asus G51VX-X3A, then my grandfather found out from my father that my Dell Vostro 1700 I had been using was stolen, which it was, and bought me an HP G60-549DX. So, I've been figuring out to do with all 3 computers. I feel like I'm in the stone age with this big 4:3 monitor! Brightness sucks.

Here is my new work setup, took the dock home since I have been doing a lot of work there.

I know this is a little off-topic and for that I apologise but I was wondering whether there's a similar thread on here for desktop/screendumps.
I can't seem to find one by searching but I can't really imagine a place like this wouldn't have such a thread. -
Metamorphical Good computer user
Four routes for you to take with that.
Windows 7 Desktops

Apple/Mac OS X

Edit: Damn got beat! -
I was aware of the gallery but since I have all my screenshots uploaded elsewhere already, it seemed somewhat superfluous to re-up them on here.
Thanks for the links, now I feel like a tool for not finding them myself... -
lol lil problems there with photomerge but still good job. nice, you must have a long desk!
-
Lol yeah Im not a photographer and it was taken on my cell phone. You should have seen the first pic I took. As for my desk its about 6-7ft long L shaped with the other part of the L being ~4ft. This is my work setup, my home setup is the same just without the server and half the desk space.
-
Here's my room. I use the dell (wall mounted) mainly for television because its not suitable for my design/photoshop need (its a TN panel that everyones seems to dislike). Enjoy.
-
Are those kendo sticks?
-
my spot
-
Wow, very good eye. I didnt even notice them and its my room...oops. Yes they are. I have doing practicing kendo for as long as i can remember.
As for AppleUsr, very nice setup. -
Why so many CRT's?
-
I really prefer CRT's compared to LCDs. Better color and no resolution problems with my old Graphics Processor (its ATI's first ever Radeon DDR). The LCD and one of the CRTs was a gift. I dont play games but I do use Solidworks and Photoshop so its good enough for me.

Dude how do you work off such a small screen?
-
What monitor is that you're using?
-
love your set up
-
Its a 25" I-INC iH252 I believe.
-
It's not all that small. I always use my 15.4" screen and I don't think it's small.
-
Solidworks? Do you work at a company that bought that for it's employees, or did you buy that yourself?
Solidworks costs A LOT of money. -
yea 15.6" is fine, as long as u sit closer but that mac = 13.3" that is kinda small for the distance he has it set back.
-
Correct. I would have got the 28" if I had realized it could fit in my wall locker
-
I have solidworks on my personal laptop
, heck I have it open right now.
I will post a pic of my desk sometime soon -
This is mine with a shot from around a year ago. Nothing too much has changed, but I changed out a few servers on the side and I cleaned as well
-
I miss having quite a few computers.
-
Out of interest, what do you do with all of those machines? Is this all Play or Work?
And to think I thought two on the same desk was alot! -
CalebSchmerge Woof NBR Reviewer
Play or work? Who says its not both? I might play a game on mine for a bit, then exit that and fire up some photo programs to work. The gap between gaming computers and the rest of "work" computers seems to be shrinking. -
Such a small screen for a massive computer!
-
I should post mine but I dont like to show people my mess. But when I do you will laugh that I still have a working intel 486.
-
Id be interested in that. I remember and miss the 80486 days alot.
Show us your computer room 2!
