Nice setup guys!Liking the clean and functional desks.

Nice setup. I just cringe every time I see someone with a laptop directly on the bed/blanket ect.. Just remember there are air vents on the bottom for a reason and beds/blankets are not that friendly for cooling.... -

Also my speaker system arrived today, I went with the cheap option and got some Creative speakers for like £30 rofl, however even at max volume there's no distortion at all.
I'll post up pictures in a few hours when I'm back from work. -

I'm actually not that big of an Apple fanboy, they just slowly won me over with their products. I still haven't quite given up on windows... yet...

I finally finished the command center...I went for a modern / minimalistic look. I repainted walls / trim and put up all the furniture....came out pretty good I think!

diggy I've had 3 ACL rebuilds on my left knee and finally a total knee replacement. Many Prayers on your recovery, and that's a nice laptop. My laptop kept me sane during my recoveries!

Work in progress:
Self made desk, I couldn't find anything big and modular (and cheap) couple years back. So I made my own.
Couple pics more there: IMAG0082.jpg | Flickr - Photo Sharing! and more will follow, when I carry my computers and monitors to this desk. -

I wish I was handy enough to build my own desk.
-
The top is generic kitchen worktop, there was multiple color/texture variants available. I asked it to be cut in 3 pieces at the store: one perfect square that you see in the right end and two equal pieces. That allows me to change layout if necessary, originally this desk was long L-shaped and filled one wall totally, now both sides are equal length.
Then I bought 8 bigger legs and 4 smaller ones. In the end 2 of the smaller legs would be enough, 4 is overkill.
Sneak peek at the underside:
At first I had problem as the worktop would bend and I wondered how to strengthen it easily. Then I got the idea about using shelf spines (what on earth they are actually called in english?) as support, they are shaped and will not bend, light and cheap. Desk parts are held together by those smaller holed metal sheets.
Screws. Lots of them. I felt like having a heart attack screwing this on my back since my powertools had failed years ago. This is totally built by hand, not really a good thing
edit: the grey sticking thingy in the left is part of the Ikea cable management system not yet in place -
My construction isn't much different, just three times biggerHardest part of making my table was actually figuring out how to do it and choosing the materials.

Well, with some cleaning up
here goes :
Most of my crap
The main bulk of my crap
MSI GX640-098 US - Modded vBios - OC'd to 5870.
HP 2510p - Stock u7600 1.2GHz / 2GB DDR2 / 60GB ZIF 1.8" / DVD +-RW/ 6 Cell
Wall-mounted Acer H233H BMID 23" LCD Monitor - DVI VGA HDMI
PS3 with a lill' somethin' special on top
The "Special-ness"
70" Diagonal Screen in room with Light On
Same Screen Light Off
Keyboard + Speaker Receiver + ATi Fanboy Pad + PS3 Controller
Random 1 - Yes I do like the PS3, and I also feel the same about my 360...(not pictured due to dust collection period).
Random 2 - Logitech MX Revolution
What you saw:
Acer H233H BMID 23" LCD Monitor
iSiVal 720p Pico Projector
MSI GX640-098US
HP 2510p
PS3
Keyboard : Razer Lycosa Rubber Finish Backlit USB Keyboard
Mouse : Logitech MX Revolution
$13 CAD worth of Blackout Curtain material on my wall (projector screen) and about $0.25 worth of picture hanging nails.
What you didn't see (due to extreme amounts of laziness) :
My PC : Q6600 @ 3.6/ 6GB DDR2 1000/ 5850 @ 5870 Superclocked Speeds/ P5K-E WiFi AP/ Silverstone 1000W 80+ 100% modular/ Antec 300/ 7 Pro 64
My Media PC (I let the family use it downstairs...) : AMD Athlon64 x2 7850BE / 4GB DDR2800 / 1x160GB 1x 1TB 2x 750GB/ 500W OCZ/ Asus TA-xx (forgot) case/ Asus M2N-e/ Win 7 Ultimate x64 / 2x Happauge WinTV PVR 150 / Sapphire HD4650 512MB / Microsoft Comfort Bluetooth KB + Mouse/ Microsoft Media Center Remote
D-Link DIR-615 and Cable Modem - Shaw Cablesystems - "25 MB Download" and "5MB Upload" - Notice the " .
And though he isn't part of my room, he is always in it...
-
The feet on mine are starting to wear out though...soon I'll have to get a new mouse.
Also, no tower speakers? -
They were way out of the angle of my crummy HTC Desire's camera.
There is one by where my MSI Laptop is, but its behind the lid, another where my HP laptop is and again behind the lid and the two "front" speakers are at the bottom on either side of my self-made projector screen -
