Snowball is good, and its not so large :D

The Yetti is there top USB mic product. I know the size is cool but it does get in the way of my triple monitors.

That's Anthony Cumia's setup from the Opie and Anthony show on Sirius. All of those guns are real and the room has magnetic locks and it's own alarm system.

...sorry it's OT, but I just can't belive this... all these guns are real and functional?

Attached is an older picture of my network/telco/cable closet at home. Some parts in here have changed over time but in general everything looks about the same. It's a DIY wallmount method so that it doesn't take up any desk or floor space, and I can keep everything neat and kinda organized. A PCB assembly (data/voice distribution panel) in there is a custom design. Some cables are custom cut to appropriate length too. From this area, the cables lead to everywhere throughout the house. Bye.

I have my desk set up in a similar fashion and have been thinking about moving it so that I could mount my TV over the monitors like you have it here in this picture. Did you run two separate cables (one for TV, one for cable modem), or just one and split the signal?

    Oh, and Semper Fi ;c)

I use fiber optic internet, it comes in on a coaxial cable from outside and goes to my router in another room.

From there a RJ45 cable comes to my computer, that same router also has my TV as it comes through the fiber optic as well so it has a coaxial cable that comes out and goes to my reviver, that receiver then connects to the TV via HDMI.

The TV has a few other cables.

The Wii, an audio out to my audio system amp, a HDMI input from my computer (the TV is a 4th monitor), and a couple of others, mostly for audio.

Not sure if I answered you question, I think maybe the setup your are using has a different kind of cable comming in that you need to work with.

Yes they are real, they are all semi-auto civilian versions though. Here is a video of him singing karaoke in his basement with the .50 cal.

If there are grenade launchers in all that mess then yeah, those would have to be replicas.

This is how I've been set up for a while now. Small apartment and not enough money for the setup I'd really like. Sorry about the image quality, it's an iPhone pic and I had to rotate it to get it proper. Small desk with the AW is mine, desk in the back is the fiance's. That's the tv on the left.

The large one is good to put under your keyboard gives you good mouse space and a surface for your keyboard so nothing moves/slides around.

I think that was the intention of it.

I have the medium size one I think, it does move a bit on my slick desk but nothing too major.

The other laptop on my bed is one of my old ones which I now use for playing around with different os setups.

I honestly dont see much if any difference from the m17x RGB, SXPS RGB or SXPS WLED. All are amazing screens, as for the dreamcolor I have never seen one so I cannot comment on it.

I had the WLED when i got my system replacement and the screen was horrible. Dull washed out and very dim. I would never trade my RGB for anything

Well going from an alienware m17x r2 with an RGB led wuxga screen to an sxps with a 1080p wled screen I noticed zero difference. I wish I could have had them at the same time to do a side by side comparison. Oh well.

Im a very anal person when it comes to little details so maybe that is why i love the RGB but still imo the RGB kills all screens. The Wled when side by side with the RGB and a macbook pro 15 it really shows the Wled is a subpar screen

Heh, too true. Can't compare TN panels to IPS, no matter what back lighting tech it has. ;)

FYI screen quality can be tested, it is not subjective (ie. ooo this look better than that). Now back to the computer room talk! :p

    Here is my office setup:

    From left to right:

Shuttle g32 P4 HT at 3.2GHz, 2GB of ram 200GB HDD. Ubuntu 10.10 server CLI only!

Danger den with c2d e6850, 2GB of ram, 200GB HDD. Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop running gnome with cube!

T400 p8600, 3GB of ram, 250GB HDD, WXGA+ CCFL, and advanced mini dock. Ubuntu 10.10 desktop running gnome with cube!

To the left of the shuttle is my vnc box, but since its just an old dimension e521 with no peripherals I figured its a waste of time to show in the picture. So yeah this is my work setup currently and it seems to work quite well!

LoL yeah I wrote that path down for some crazy reason. No longer the same path and when i saw the picture I actually threw the postit away. I dont even know why I still have an lcd hooked to that box as I never access it locally.

Thanks! The danger den box is near 4 years old but still rocks the heck out of sys admin work. Thinking of taking it back home since I mainly use the thinkpad.
