I finally found the perfect case for me but it doesn't have a side window. I'm wondering if there are companies which will modify cases in this way like you have the painting companies. I know places like FrozenCPU will modify certain cases which are in stock but not of one that will modify anything. Thought maybe the same people who are into notebook modifications might know the most about this, which is why I'm posting here.
It's a Cooler Master Mystique 631 Silver Aluminum case. Next to impossible to find anymore and none with the window.

Why don't you do it yourself? It's a pretty easy diy project.

I have no idea how to cut and modify aluminum to create a window. Even if someone had a guide I doubt I own the tools.

why need a window for a laptop case?
-
If you read my first post you'd know it wasn't a laptop case.
How can you possibly help someone if you don't even read their post? And if you have no interest in helping then I don't quite understand why you're here.. -
ok sorry, but my question still stands, why do you need the window? what is the function?
-
Side windows are a nice touch if you want to add some flash to your case with some lighting and nicely done wire management. They're totally optional as I'm sure stirfiredsushi is aware.
@OP: you might consider asking a Mod to move your thread to the desktop section where you'll probably get better responses. -
I just don't see the point of making one yourself. i had a pc with a sidewindow and it cracked on me. had to replace it, cost me 20 bucks.
i don't think they are worth it. -
angelicvoices, where are you located?
I ask because it is simple to add a window to your case, if you have the right tools. If their is a college in your town or a decent architecture firm, they will have laser cutters, which could cut a very accurate square or whatever design into your side panel. Its worth looking into, cause its really cool to do. I did this on my brother's case, but to recut the plexi, cause the stock panel was like 1/16" thick, and it cracked, so I dimensioned the hole in the case and precision cut a 1/4" plexi sheet to fit perfectly with the case panel.
