    Silly Powder Coated Tablet pc

    This is an old school tablet pc I powder coated. The top cover is aluminium or I wouldnt be able to put it in a 500 degree oven. :)

    Powder coated is very durable and maintaines its color for a VERY long time indoors.

    It looks orange but in better light it is VERY red.

    Just thought I would share.

    Kind of nice having access to such tools where I work.

    I work at a high school so I have access to all the old metal and autoshop tools.

    There isn't much I haven't bead blasted.

    Oh man when I first started I bead blasted for HOURS! Can get lost in your head. :) I didnt blast this just sanded it, afraid it would warp.

    thats pretty cool. i never thought about powder coatin cuz of the bakin process.
