This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Has anyone used the Skinmania site?
    I ordered a laptop cover for my friends Fortieth Birthday, nearly a month after the posting of the cover I got concerned that it hadn't arrived, my emails went unanswered and I began to panic...
    I missed the birthday and I contacted Paypal to see if this was a legitimate company or whether I'd been ripped off. The very next day, out of the blue, Skinmania emailed me to say my order was missing in the post and they'd send me another one. I also got a "confirmation of posting" email
    This is now the second month, I've parted with my money but got nothing to show for it?
    Has anyone used Skinmania before? If so, how did you find them?

    Paypal have told me there's nothing they can do as it's a dispute between a buyer and a seller and not their responsibility :mad:
    It now looks like I'm going to miss Christmas too :(
