I was wondering if anyone tried to mod the rear of the LCD screen to open the VAIO logo and have the lodo glowing like the apple on macs?
I am almost ready to start it up and i am also thinking about how to close the opening done.

Does anyone have any ideas of plastic liquid that can get solid ?
I am thinking of pouring that kind of plastic (if it exist) in the VAIO logo to have transparency.

I dont know if i am that clear... lol

Plastic Resin. But the cover probably isn't that thick, you could probably get away with cutting out the logo and placing thin Plexiglas behind the case.

I wouldnt want it. You will have a dimmer screen from the back light leaking.

Not if you used an LED to light the logo and then covered that all with aluminum foil or a sheet of plastic

Did you have any luck? I'd trying to do the same to my Dell, but I figured I'd have to either use the Apple logo or something else since the Dell logo is too small.

How simple is it to cut out the foil safely?
