    I bought a Inspiron 1720 Spring Green. Black is becomming the next beige... I am tired of seeing black computers, black laptops, black black black black black!

    I am actually looking at buying a second shell for my lappy and doing some custom detailing on it.

    Jet black. It's probably the easiest color to re-sell. There are not too many of us guys that would settle on pink for example.

    Jet Black , Ruby Red, Or Midnight Blue would be my choices.

    I'd probably go for Jet Black, No delays, Cheaper and I like the look

    Hello guys i'm new here to the fourm and had a few questions,

    1.) i am planing to buy the street pattern design inspiron laptop, but i have heard that its a magnet for fingerprints, but is there a way to wipe them off or are they there forever...

    2.)another color i'm thinking about getting is midnight blue, if anyone has a picture of the midnight blue laptop and can show me i would greatly appreciate it, but i am not really sure with one of these is better.

    Basicly i want you guys to help me decide on what color is better quality wise and durable wise, and better looking... your responses will be a big help. thanks in advanced, sorry i know it's alot but i've been undecicive on these colors and i need some feed back.

    Just in case you guys haven't seen the "street pattern" here it is (the only picture of the actual laptop color i haven't seen is midnight blue):

    The best color would be hot pink, its so manly.

    Fingerprints will definitely wipe off, get a microfiber cloth (if it doesn't come with one) or some wipes form office depot or staples (I have used the LCD wipes or the phone/equipment wipes both work fine)

    the street pattern has a glossy finish, so you can just use a microfibre cloth to easily wipe fingerprints off.

    now clearly the best colour is alpine white... its clean and simple, bright, and not as common as black. as well it has the glossy finish, and its harder to spot fingerprint marks.

    one question. are ALL of the inspiron colors glossy?? because i know that street pattern is definatly glossy but what about for the other colors like midnight blue..

    P.S if someone can post a pic of their midnight blue inspiron laptop here i would really appreciate it.

    Well.. i decided on midnight blue.. supposly it is suppose to ship the 29 of this month and today is the 20!! it's soo long but i can't wait

    It'll run world of warcraft at WXGA at... maybe low-medium at around 30 fps would be my bet. Well enough to play ok but not well enough to look very nice.

    does anyone know how long it takes for dell to change the order stats, my order as been in producton for about 9 days, and it's supposed to ship today, also does anyone know if dell ships their products eary or late?...

    Crap. just got an e-mail from them saying that it got delayed untill 6/5/2008.... has anyone had it delayed and come earlier than expected??
