    Green

But I will add that I hope you did your homework. I just don't want someone getting suprised 3 months after they buy. You can get a much better machine for much less but if you happen to be in love then I wish you the best :)

Yeah, I know that I could get a 1 million times better machine.... I could just paint an Asus or something. OR I could pay way to much for the same thing, like I think I might do. Im still considering whether or not to get it, but I have done my homework.

I'll second the motion of suggesting something else than a Voodoo!

I had one, (Envy M855) and had pretty poor service.

The firewire port on the notebook was broken new, Voodoo refuse to replace under warranty, they wanted $700 for a moterboard swap.

The LCD backlight died and at the same time, smoke was emitted from the notebook. They repaired it under warranty but the fan will no longer vary their speed with temperature (Full RPM all the time). Call their tech servcie and was told that it was designed that way while the Specification from Mitac (The ODM for thsi model) say that the fan will vary in RPM according to the internal temperature. Had 1 battery die after less then 2 years and just before it was 3 years old, the laptop refuses to work on bateery power even with a brand new battery.

It was one quick notebook over 3 years ago but a very expensive paintjob for $7,000!

I just replaced the Voodo 2 months ago with an LG and if the idea of having a custom painted notebook bites me again, I'll buy a barebone from Clevo or Asus and with the money I will save will probably be able to afford 2 of them for the price of a VoddooPC.

There is a common saying out there, you have to commit hard cash to learn!

I did my part and never again.

I like the green more. Sticks out more for some reason compared to the red one.

The green looks like the 100$ laptop...
    I also like it better.

The $100 laptop is much brighter. This is a subtle green. I think it's cool. I like red more, especially because the tattoo is off to the side, but red is more common. It also depends on what type of clothes you like to wear though, since if you usually wear earthtones, for instance, you'll look better using the green. Good luck!

I personally like the teal of my HGL30, so I got a fast machine with some nice color, and it was still priced nicely ;) But it doesn't have the custom tattoo or anything. Of those two, I do like the green the best, as it's more unusual. Unusual = hard for someone else to claim it's theirs or steal it ;)

I like the green's color more because it's less loud, but I like the tattoo on the red one more. If you could get the green laptop with the red laptop's tattoo, I'd say go with that.

Somehow, I find the notion of matching laptop colors to the clothes you wear terrifying.
