    G'day,
Anyone know where I can get a little Ubuntu sticker, like the Windows and Intel stickers you find on your laptops? I've checked eBay, but, nah. Any stores?

    Cheers.

(BTW, I didn't know where to post this, so I'm guessing here  )

System76 was giving them away. Not sure if they still are.

Yes. Mail them an envelope with an envelope in it. the envelope that is inside should have your name, address, and a stamp on it (like you were sending it to yourself).

Yeah, they could have forgotten. Who knows with fairly large businesses like that. You might as well try again, what ya got to lose, except a few cents for postage.

It wasn't a Scam... They just simply forgot. A company like that can't have "scam" imprinted into their name.

Make one yourself. Ever used a sticker maker? Your artsy auntie may have one.

Uh, no. Not everyone has a sticker maker floating around, nor do I want to buy one just to print a very small Ubuntu sticker...

I've gotten them from System76 in the past, only took a day or two. They're thin vinyl stickers, flimsier and more prone to wear than the thicker metallic Microsoft/Intel stickers are. Still, looks nice, and it covered the clean patch left by the MicrosoftXP sticker when it fell off pretty well (my palmrest was filthy and unscrubbable)

The system76 ubuntu sticker page shows them somewhat clearly. The ones I had were junked (I suppose) when Dell replaced the wristrest/touchpad assembly a few weeks ago. :(

got the stickers yesterday. look just like the ones on the website. not super high quality, but with four, you can always replace it if it gets worn out.

i ended putting a second one right on top of the first, made it feel sturdier, and cut a piece of packing tape on top so it wouldn't wear down like the first. ghetto, but feels thicker and stopped wearing out
