I have seen notebook skins? Are those lasting in quality? Do they stand up to wear and tear?

use the heatgun or hair dryer -
How was that a reply to his question, Janavar? Lol?
I'd think they were pretty long lasting juice4dman, and if not you could always replace them once they wear or tear.
But just like any other thing about a notebook, I'd say, the better you treat them, the longer they last, the more you abuse them, the quicker they'll wear out. -
Janavar means that if it starts to peel you can use those things to melt the adhesive a little and fix it up
@OP: If you look after it and don't pick it then it should last a good amount of time. -
vinyl ones will last a while. However be sure to use a glossy type. The glossy finish will help keep the sticker more vivid and clear for a longer period of time. If you use standard skins without the glossy protector the oils from your hands and such will cause them to fade much faster.
