:) Hey everyone! I'm glad to be apart of this wonderful community! Now, I was browsing google images and came across this wonderful design on a Dell Inspiron model. I was hoping to find a wallpaper that i could just upload to skinit.com and have them make it. I'm still crapped about Dell not selling the XPS M1530 with the glossy white cover. I was in love! Can someone help me with getting this design or something similiar:

    Thanks!

what is the computer on the picture, it looks like the inspiron 6000... an obsolete system. If you want cool designs, go for the studio laptops

have u checked ebay out? there was a company that made full (lid, palm rest, and monitor bezel) designs for about $40 usd.

make sure whoever u'r buyin from is a powerseller.

i know this seller has alot of different designs for alot of different products: 3acp ebay skin store.
u could try to contact them and try to get them to make somethin for u in yur specific measurements.

try www.deviantart.com galleries and see if u can find a similar design. u could always get one custom made for u.

Power seller or not I wouldn't touch that user with a ten foot pole. WAY too many unhappy people. I don't judge based on whether or not someone is a power seller myself. I do want someone to have an established feedback as a seller but I look at how many people have been unhappy and also read exactly what the problem is. A few negatives can be simple mistakes but when you have gobs of people all griping about the same thing then you've established a pattern of poor service.

thats a very good point, but the seller has 5k+ feedback. probably way more than 5k sales. u can't keep everyone happy :p

And yet there are people with thousands of feedback all being 100% too :p I don't expect THAT kind of perfection but personally I don't buy from anyone with less than 99% feedback unless I'm just really desperate and can't find what I want any place else. I've been buying and selling on ebay for over 10 years and it's just been my experience that the WORST sellers are power sellers with lots of negatives like that but still enough overall feedback to give them ratings in the 90%s. Those and those alone are the times I've been burned. Anyway just my take :p

    Why not design your own?

You could make something like that easily with a good set of photoshop brushes.
(you can probably find links for good brushes at smashingmagazine.com)
