If you bought a custom painted laptop would you want the company logo or would you rather just have your paintjob all on its own?

Any thoughts on this being on your laptop-

That is the symbol for infinity, which would be pretty ironic to have on a laptop, or computers in general, seeing how long they last is a good bit shy of that... It'd look nice though.

Oh, it depends on the company, I don't like Dell's big glaring badge, but I don't mind HP & Compaqs small or even engraved logos on the lids of their smaller models.

Fujitsu's logo is based on the infinity symbol. Fujitsu... <3

I think the un-stylized black infinity that really looks like an 8 on its side is a tad bit plain, considering you're going all out to paint the laptop. However, if you think you can hand draw it and make it look cool and make a template from it, it could work. I think if it was one color, I'd get color sticker paper instead (don't know what it's really called) and cut out the symbol with an exacto knife, and then just stick it on.

Then again, I have a gigantic gerbera daisy sticker on my laptop (from lapschticks.com), so what do I know.

Well its like this: red laptop-black infinity. Blue laptop-black infinity. Black laptop red infinity.

I am not using infinity for the sake of longevity of machine in sense of being up to date but in terms of quality, reliability and incredible power to begin with.

    Infinity-no limits.

Note: I am thinking of selling machines like this.

You can't see black on red or blue. And if it's not distinct, it's like, why bother. Unless blue = light blue. I think light blue looks nice with red. But only light blue; dark blue makes it look like a flag.

If you're selling them like that, you can just ask the people what colors they like...

I think people who don't like math may not like the infinity thing?

In which case they can choose not to have the symbol on the lid. I will allow complete customization right down to full on art designs on the lid.

Well if everyone's customizing it anyway, then, what's the question...

Well as standard I would include the logo or just solid paint-the artwork is extra as it takes alot more time (up to 15 hours by a pro!)

i'd like to see a piece of solid aluminum, laser engraved design to resemble a Heat sink, with semi shallow grooves, cool logo and more of a case dissipating heat function for my voodoo...

love the cool paint job but i've always been a fan of brushed metal finishes...

not too hot but gets warm...
