how thick is the stuff you used? imma make a few big upgrades on my laptop, and im also gonna mod it to look nicer. i wanna put that on the lid, and around the keyboard (the plastic i have takes scratches too easily, gets dirty too easily, and gets fingerprints WAAAAY to easy) i have a 2 mm space in between my screen and my keyboard area when closed.

They are actually thinner than regular copy paper, so 2 mm is ample spacing. -

Nicely done! I really love it.

OP, you are an inspiration. I went to Home Depot and Office Depot to get my supplies today. Pictures to come. I plan to use it to hide a small mystery dent.

I can't wait to see your results!

That realy looks good!

This looks damn awesome!! Need to do this to my notebook... But sadly there's no Home Depot in my city...
No worries!! Where there is a will, there is a way! I shall get my hands on it one way or another... -
That looks very nice. I will checkout the local HD to see what they have available.

Wow! Great Job!

Went to home depot the other day, and saw a roll of Contact for like 7bucks. It's alot thinner than I imagined. It's more like a roll of paper that has glue on the back, really. Here I was thinking it'd be thick like wallpaper.
