Hi Folks, I'm new to Mac, new to laptop and new to forum, so as a newbie here goesI recently purchased a new to me Mac G4 laptop and during the first week of ownership I have dislodged a key on the keyboard. Is there a simple fix without doing further damage to the laptop ? I haven't lost the key and I can still type with it perched carefully on the white key pad but I am afraid it won't be long before there is either damage to the underlying pad or loss of the little keypad. Please I could use some assistance.

If it's anything like most laptop keys you can re-attach it simply by aligning the key correctly on the little... spring mechanism - for want of a better term - and applying light pressure until it snaps back on. If it worries you, take it down to the local computer place and ask them if they would mind showing you.
It takes like 3 seconds, so I don't think many would begrudge you the time if you were nice. -
Thank you for the assistance ! It was an easy fix, my lack of experience in laptops led me to be super cautious so a little forced realignment and all was back up and running well. Finding time to get out to a computer shop is difficult so your help was much appreciated.
